Alma was born is Suriname and very young she starts painting.

She participates to many competitions winning important prices and collecting approvals by the critic.

Since the early nineties she participates, to many personal and collective shows.

She has spent part of her life in Holland where she knew a lot dutch painters that fascineted her and started a route that will carry her to a definitive pictorical choice.

In 1994 she moved in Italy. 

And still to day, she continue her work in her art studio in Lucca.
